Terms of Service
1.) I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time.
2.) Online commissions will have a 50% down payment on the quoted price before work will begin. The remaining payment will be paid before final high-res images are sent.
3.) Payment will be done through PayPal invoice using USD. Cash is accepted in person at conventions only.
4.) All commissions will require at least 2 weeks to be completed. Longer timelines will be required for more complex art, which will be communicated to the client as needed. A rush fee will be charged with shortened deadlines.
5.) There are a limited number of free revisions during specific phases that are permitted, detailed below. Revisions requested beyond these limits will incur an additional fee based on the complexity of the request.
a.) In the sketching phase, one major revision and multiple minor revisions are allowed for free
b.) In the color or painting phase (if applicable), up to 3 minor revisions are allowed for free.
c.) Revisions due to my negligence are automatically free and do not count towards the limits.
d.) It is up to my discretion as to what constitutes minor and major revisions.
6.) Once the final product is approved, a refund is not permitted.
7.) You may cancel the commission any time, after which I will issue a refund equivalent to the amount of work not done.
8.) If I have begun work and am unable to complete your commission, I will refund you half. If I have not begun work, I will refund in full.
9.) Commissions used for business or commercial reasons have an additional fee for continued rights. Desire to commission for commercial use must be communicated up front.
10.) You may use or edit the commissioned work in the following ways.
a.) Print the work for personal use.
b.) Crop and/or resize the image for use as an avatar, header, video thumbnail, etc.
c.) Post the artwork on social media, with credit to me clearly visible.
11.) You may NOT use or edit the commissioned work in the following ways
a.) Claim the artwork as yours.
b.) Remove my watermark/signature.
c.) Paint over or otherwise alter the artwork in ways not covered under the allowed uses above.
d.) Color in or use AI to complete my sketches or lineart.
e.) Use the commissioned piece in any technology related to NFTs, cryptocurrency, or AI.
f.) Reproduce the work commercially without purchasing the rights from me.
12.) All commissions require credit if posted. Preferred link is to my carrd, tagging is also sufficient on social media I am on.
